Hoping some of the Brownstoners can help me. We’re planning to hire a painter to paint our apartment in a few months, and I’m in the process of creating a budget.

Can someone give me a general rule of thumb about how much a good, professional apartment painter will charge? I’ve normally painted our place in the past, so this is new ground for me. Any help is greatly appreciated!
