Damage to roof

I have a friend who’s roof was damaged due to a neighbor installing a direct t.v. dish on her roof with out her permission. They drilled several holes threw her roof, which has lead to leaking in her bedroom. I think she needs to sue the neighbors and Direct TV, for failing to get authorization from property owner. What do you guys think?
