I believe much of the information posted may not have been so accurate. My contractor (who is the GC on my new home reno!) was hired to convert this place into condos….and my architect is working with him on it…these are not the people mentioned in the post above. Anyways…I was in the house today to check out the heating system that the contractor is giving me…most of the original details were removed, unlike what the original post said that they were tryng to keep as much as possible. My contractor said its a shame,but he was just doing his job. Regardless, the place still is grand…quite amazing. You can just feel te history of the home as soon as you walk in.
