The basement floor in a brownstone we recently bought is concrete, but is flaking up. The home inspector suggested that we could have it re-poured, but significant prep work would be required to avoid the new floor from flaking right off again. Does anyone have any experience with this? Rec’s for contractors or ballpark prices? 20×45′ basement, relatively dry, unfinished. Thanks!
