With an influx of new tall buildings to the neighborhood and more tenants in our 4 story brownstone our water pressure has dropped considerably. As in you flush on the first floor and there’s no water anyplace else in the building.

A plumber came and checked out the line from the water main in the street to the building and found that it was much too small, only 1 inch across.

Has anyone had a main line replaced? Do you have suggestions on a plumber to do this type of job? Please post or email me at smalliegirl (at) gmail. Thanks!
