I second the other glowing recommendations on Robert Aldani (516-524-1784), a housing inspector. He was immensely helpful in explaining the flaws with our 100-y.o. house, and was able to compare our defects with others, given his extensive experience in inspecting Brooklyn brownstones. After the inspection, he promptly responded to our numerous follow-up questions. His background as a contractor was also useful in estimating the cost of repairs.
