We have a fairly small one bedroom apartment (650 square feet) and are moving about 10 blocks away to a two bedroom (830 square feet) apartment. We are moving from a first floor apartment to a third floor walk up – large stairs. Our largest items are a king bed and a sectional couch. We were quoted $1,050 from Movers not Shakers and are waiting for a quote from Shea. Does the quote from Movers sound about right? I called them first since they seemed highly recommended on here.
