co-op harassment
Hello everyone,
Hoping someone can give me some advice on the harassment I have encountered during my kitchen renovation from BOTH the co-op board and the management company.
It’s too much to get into here but, in essence, the co-op president has sided with the management company in the management companies negligence in 1) answering or confirming receipt of e-mails, 2) the management company sending out forms w/o reviewing, 3) the management company not reviewing correspondence for over a month ( case in point: I was told that a missing 2 signatures in an application that had been received for a month. It turns out the the signatures were supposed to be in BLANK margins of 2 pages.
The results so far is that work has been stopped twice in the course of a week ( even though this work was approved ( and documented by me)/
It’s become personal. I am seeking the advise of a lawyer but honestly, I neither have the time nor the energy to litigate.Also, this experience has been so horrendous that I am planning to sell my place and move and i don’t want any retaliatory actions against me/potential buyers.
Any advice?
