Hey all:

I installed a sump pump in my basement cuz flooded basements freak me out. A friend of mine installed it basically for free.

The pump is discharged thru a window onto the driveway via PVC pipe. Since I have a plumbing inspection coming up, I’m wondering if there is a code that covers it. For example, maybe code states it has to discharge into a sewer line.

Anyone have any pertinent knowledge?
