refinishing (lead?) painted wood floors?

We ripped up the carpet and found painted wood from at least before 1980. I am assuming lead paint and trying to figure out a safe way to refinish the wood. I found something called “Mr. Sandless” and I found wood refinishers claiming a “dustless sanding with a HEPA filter” Anyone have experience with either of these methods? In the meantime I am going to try to have the paint tested for lead – anybody know a quick method for that?
