I’m looking to purchase a coop which currently has a windowless bathroom and no ventilation installed. Since this seems to be a code violation the owner is looking to take care of before we close (either via an adjustment to the selling price or having someone on their end come in to install it). Does anyone have a recommendation for a good contractor who has done vent installations before, preferrably in brownstones? I’d like to get an estimate and would prefer to take care of it through my end. This is a ground floor apartment in the rear of a brownstone. I’m not sure if other units in the bldg have a similar issue.
