In lieu of white cermanic tile?

Hello folks. So here’s a design question. I’m helping a friend with a renovation in an insane coop in the city. She wants 24″ white tile throughout the apartment..the coop board says no way.

What’s the next best thing? Polished concrete? (which they probably won’t go for) Wood floors with an insane amount of polish? Any thoughts?
