Today 6/18/08 we received certified mail letter from BA saying they had terminated their relationship with AIG subsidiary 12/31/07 and our policy would not be renewed when it expired in August. The letter says they “will be Underwriters for Everest National Insurance Company.” Has anyone had experience since 12/31/07 getting renerwal coverage and for how much $ with AIG directly or through another broker? Has anyone gotten a quote or coverage with Everest National (through BA or otherwise)? I’m really annoyed that BA notified us only now, giving us a very short time to shop.
What happened with BA when other 3 year AIG policies expired between 12/31/07 and 6/18/07? Help please.
