Hi
I need to do some repair work on my rental unit’s bathroom (I am not really looking at high-end tile … basic white subway tile)

essentially it would be to remove the existing tile around the tub, fix and insulate the plumbing in the wall, retile and install new hardware.

This is all just in the tub area the rest of the bathroom is fine.

Would love any recommendations of someone reliable and solid to get the job done. Any idea of how much something like this should cost would be great as well.

while i’m at it, the shower area has about a foot drop-ceiling in it making it annoying for my rather tall tenant to shower … any hints as to what may be going on in there and why it would be there? the bathroom is part of a single-storey extention that has some sort of exhaust looking pipe coming out of it …
