lead paint inspection necessary if you’re renovating anyway?

We’re buying an old brownstone and wonder if it’s worth paying for a professional lead inspection – this was beyond the scope of our standard inspection. Since we’re planning to renovate anyway, it is not worth the money to inspect for lead?
