I own a house in a landmarked district and want to make some changes to the outside area. I want to dig out the front cracked cement & non-code steps, rearrange and rebuild the steps.

Do I need an architect to do the drawings or will Landmarks accept my pictures, write-up and non-architect drawings? I will have contractors do the work.

I appreciate advise from those of who have dealt with Landmarks in the past.
