this house is on sale across the street from me with a small broker. It obviously needs an aesthetic overall, but it’s a great location (Carroll Gardens, 1st street btw Hoyt and Bond) and at 1.25 for at least 2400 sq feet (it’s three floors, 20×40 with a two story extension) it seems like it’s a good deal if you get an accepted offer at say 1.1. Apparently the whole house has recently been renovated, so although it’s hideous aesthetically, that does probably mean that all the mechanicals are updated… Also, this house is very near the Gowanus, so you would have to make extra sure the basement doesn’t flood…
