heating efficiency
We have a tough question, since hdd heating degree days used by fuel companys to test efficiency with new system changes is really just an average of hi and low, is there somewhere the data would have an true avg daily temp, ie every hour temp divided by 24 hours to get a far more accurate hdd measure? we are studying fuel heating efficiency in ny. i can’t imagine someone hasn’t come up with a far more accurate hdd measure to see how much colder one winter is than another to compare apples to apples on a fuel bill.
