I know this post comes up all of the time but I am looking for someone who is honest, reliable and reasonably priced to do some projects on a brownstone in Bed Stuy. Hopefully, we can find someone who is willing to refer us to retailers who have lower-priced appliances or somewhere that extends them a discount. Listed below is all of the work that needs to be done.

We need to have two walls moved in the garden apartment to create a larger living room. Kitchen will need to be reconfigured – new cabinets and fixtures installed. Dropped ceiling needs to be taken out as well and replaced with sheetrock(?) so it has a smooth appearance. Two closets will need to be built. Also, bathroom tile and fixtures all need to be torn out and replaced in garden and third floor.

We need a kitchen installed on the parlor floor directly above the kitchen in the garden apartment – currently it is just an empty room.

We would like to replace the small, galley kitchen on the third floor to be replaced with a no frills laundry room as it will be configured as an upper duplex.
