Please, does anyone know if Utica or Pennco makes a decent gas steam boiler. Ours just quit and the plumber said under 299,000 btu we do not need to file DOB paperwork and that this is an inexpensive unit that should just make it on capacity for our 5 story brownstone and the total job is under $5,000, the best price we’ve seen on this site for similar gas steam boiler replacements. We are in a rush and its so much better than these other prices and we dont have to wait 2 weeks. We need to do this by the book since we need to file for the MCI rent increases for the boiler.
