Building Plans

I own a three-story bstone sandwiched between two four-story buildings, at one time a copper cornice made up for some of the difference in height. Unfortunately it was torn down in the late 50′s. I’ve tried to get a photo from the NYC archives, but they can’t locate it. Do the building plans on file with DOB show elevation?
