HPD/NYFD/Sprinklers/Plumber (continued…)

Has anyone out there successfully tested their sprinklers recently, using the new NY Fire Dept regulations/forms? I guess I’m looking for the name of a licensed plumber who has some experience with this…
My plumber says that he can only set this up when there is a violation; HPD today says that in order for them to remove the violation (for not posting a sprinkler-test in a public hallway in the year 2000, when the building was owned by someone else), I need to show proof that I have done the Fire-Dept sprinkler test…
