Engineer/Inspector Recommendations

We have an accepted offer on a property and need to find an inspector/engineer who would do a very thorough job inspecting the place. We are willing to pay what it takes to have a VERY thorough job done.

Do you have any recommendations? How would I go about selecting someone?
