We are about to do a total gut reno over our upstairs bathroom and I had a couple of questions, we want to go with the traditional white subway tile look but are trying to decide between the classic white ceramic or a pure white marble subway tile. Has anyone used Ann Sacks tiles? She makes a product called White Thassos which is pure white marble and in the 3 x 6 size; also, does anyone have any feedback on the difference between maintaining ceramic versus marble in terms of weekly cleaning and yearly “re-honing”? btw, we found a tile place called Classic Tile that’s about half the price of the tile store in Park Slope, for the same stuff.
