Quiet Window AC

Hopefully there are some out there who have not yet installed central a/c. I need to replace my aging window units. I have tried extensively to find noise ratings on window a/cs, but cannot. And places like PC Richards don’t let you turn them on to hear them run.

Any recommendation for really quiet brands? I have a Panasonic which is whisper quiet, almost like a fan but Panasonic don’t make a/cs any more.
