Sweaty Pipes

Does anyone have a remedy for pipes that “sweat” when it is humid or raining? The large pipes in my cellar have been doing this a lot lately and it sometimes causes a musty lingering odor afterwards, as well as is causing the pipes and floor to peel. Thanks so much for any help!
