if you look at the new developments in w’burg and downtown bklyn, the more expensive the apartment, the more it’s just sitting there. Has anyone been able to get a return call from 80 Metropolitan? I haven’t and the stuff around mccarren park isn’t exactly flying out the door. There was another article recently in curbed that said the south slope is not selling. More Schaeffer landing stuff is sitting around too. Eventually the investors will runout and the working stiffs won’t be able to buy up all this inventory. If the bubble isn’t bursting, it’s at least leaking air.
