So we just closed on a new apartment and now that the owner’s stuff is out, and we can finally see the walls, we see that there are lots of little holes (and some bigger ones), etc. What are the advantages of skim coating, as opposed to just spackling and painting over all of this? Any idea of what it costs to skim coat a room? Thanks so much!
