My roommate and I have received the dreaded lease renewal of our Manhattan Duplex – it is going up a staggering $500 a month. Not going to rant about NYC becoming a gated community; instead we are using this opportunity to go beyond this borough. We are looking for a REAL 2 Bedroom in Brooklyn (preferably Park Slope, Fort Greene, Windsor Terrace). We need a place by 8/1 HOWEVER, since our landlord can make a killing on our place – the sooner we can get out, the better for both parties. ANY advice, suggestions, leads would be MUCH appreciated. Budget: $2300.00 We are not willing to pay a broker’s fee. Thanks and we look forward to joining the ‘hood.
