I’ve been looking around for advice about selling a townhouse, but all I can find is information on buying property. Is there any resource for advice about selling in Brooklyn?

I bought a three-floor, four bedroom 2.5 bath frame townhouse in BedStuy near Fort Greene two years ago, and I’m looking to sell it. I paid 425K two years ago, so I was wondering what the situation will be when I sell it.

I think it might sell for more than I bought it for, and I heard somewhere that there were tax penalties for selling a house less than three years after you bought it. Is that true? What should I look out for in the selling process?
