I just used Heimer Engineering today. I was pressed for time and was able to have them come out on a day’s notice. $720 was the charge, but he did a thorough job. We also were under a time schedule of only one hour to complete the interior inspection. The house had no electric, so he took his flashlight and got lost in the basement for 20 mins checking the foundation, electric and heating. The building needs a complete renovation and he inspected every floor and even removed a lock and chain from a fourth floor closet area that gave access to the roof. There was a ladder in there that gave him an ability to open the roof hatch but was too short to allow him to actually get on the roof. He gave me a preliminary review which I was satisfied with.
