Does anyone know the NYC building code rules for installing gas dryer vents in new construction condos? We recently purchased a new condo and discovered the vent to our gas dryer leads to a meter room in the cellar and ends at a screened in grate. There is outdoor air coming into the room from the grate, but the vent pipe itself is located in the room and the lint does not go outside (it stays in the room). Thanks.
