Depserately need window advice…replacing crappy old windows in brownstone with new. not sure if i should use pella, marvin, anderson, etc…my contractor told me he needs to set up staging outside the entire building (as well as get a permit) to install them from the outside. i thought they could be installed from inside ? we’d like to use wood interior and exterior, and instead of aluminum cladding weather proof the exterior with wood casing (painted). is this why we need staging on the outside of the building ? any advice how to do this work ? please help ! thanks.
