I am set to close on my first home, a 3-story, two-family brownstone in Clinton Hill, on Friday.

I would like some advice. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to look for during the pre-closing walk-through. I had inspections (engineering and termite) after my offer was accepted.

At this point, are you just looking for damage in the interim, checking that everything (appliances, details, etc) are in place and intact, and that the outlets work ? (I heard you’re supposed to bring a nightlight).

I’m not sure what else to look for or what else to bring. I’d like to be prepared, so I’d greatly appreciate any advise.
