Sublet co-op?


Hi – I have been considering subletting my studio co-op which is in a large co-op building. I have been there for about a year and a half and since I don’t know most of my neighbors, i thought i could maybe get away with subletting to a friend of mine for 6 months. I KNOW it’s against the rules, but what are your thoughts? Am I playing with fire? If caught would they warn me? Or try to kick me out? I really would only consider renting out to a friend who i trust to not make a ruckus, obviously. Thanks guys.
