Silent Paint Stripper?

I’m thinking of buying a Silent Paint Stripper ($400) to strip the 100 years of thick paint on all the interior wood work in our 2 story row house. It’s mostly window and door moldings – some details but nothing too detailed. Has anyone used an infrared striper? Is it worth the money?
