We desperately need help. We recently bought a house and with it came a longtime homeowner next door whose 30-something son plays music all day long every day at a level that vibrates the floors and walls, it’s so loud. I am not exaggerating when I say we are losing our minds and have lost all joy in life, listening to this 11 hours a day every single day. The stress over it is killing us. The homeowner seems nice when we complain to him, but nothing has improved in two weeks. My question before we escalate our efforts to police and attorneys – will the Environmental Control Board still measure for high decibel noise and do something about it, even if the noise occurs in the daytime? Some people are saying if the noise is in the daytime there’s nothing we can do. I did not think that could possibly be true. Secondly, who is a good attorney who handles situations like this? We’d like an expert. Thank you so much for any advice. I’ve never regretted so much ever before, that we are people who work at home.
