Homeowners and inspectors frequently eye-ball asbestos pipe lagging – but does anyone here have any experience with asbestos wall board or cement? I have a crumbling ceiling in my basement that I can’t tell if it’s plaster or wall board or some combination. I had the air tested in this room when some pipe lagging was professionally removed, and all was fine in terms of air quality. I’m having it tested Friday, but just wondering if anyone has found asbestos wall board in their homes. I am told it’s not that common.
