Moving Estimates

i just had an in-home estimate from flatrate.com. apparently i have around 1600 cubic feet of stuff to move and they quoted a price of $1649. this includes making an extra stop at my girlfriend’s apartment and picking up all her stuff too. how does this sound? it’s nice to get the fee up front and know it can’t get any higher, but i’m wondering if i couldn’t get it cheaper elsewhere. is this in line with what most people expect to pay for movers?
