I wonder if any of you have some advice about good flooring for
a small entranceway/hallway (75 square feet). The mini-lobby has a space of about 12 square feet and the rest about 65 square feet.
I want something light colored (whitish) and either stone or very durable ceramic.

I don’t know what to get. I saw some ceramic tiles (look like marble) but I wonder how durable they are. I love the look of white marble but wonder if I am going to have spots, stains, gouges, etc. I don’t want anthing busy or too slippery either.

Do you have any ideas, suggestions? It is a narrow building and I want to keep the hallways as light in color and feeling as possible.
