Early Occupancy?
I’m gutting a 3 family house which didn’t come with a C of O (it predates needing one…). We aren’t changing the usage of the house, but will get a C of O at the end just so that I have it when I sell. I’m trying to phase the work on the house so that I can rent the 2 floorthough apts. first to start getting some much needed cash flow going, but I don’t know if I’ll be legally able to, since the work on my duplex will continue and we won’t have the C of O yet. I thought this was an ALT-2 filing at first, but my architect tells me he did ALT-1, if that impacts the info. Any help is always appreciated.
