We recently purchased a brownstone with 3 units, one of which we are living in. We were thinking that instead of leaving the stairway lights on all the time of putting motion detector lights which will come on whenever the hallway is in use. Additionally, for the front door light, a light sensitive light to come on automatically around dusk (and off in the AM). Does anyone have any tips on this. Is this a simple task for a new homeonwer to install on their own?
