bathroom exhaust

i live in a frame house with pitched/shingle roof. i’m reshingling the roof with tear off and since the top floor bathroom has no exhaust fan i thought it would be the ideal time to install one. the bathroom is apprx about 10×20′ and has a shower stall, jacuzzi, and toilet. i know that it’s not required to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom if there is a window but i thought it would be nice to have one anyway especially since in the winter time we keep the window open to let out the exhaust. my electrician recommended that i should just exhaust it into the attic/crawl space because i don’t have steam shower and the humidity from the shower is negligence. this is in lieu of exhausting it outside. does this seems right? i’m concern that his method may lead to moisture buildup or mold inside the crawl space. would love to hear your thoughts.
