Wood Molding. Urethane, Stain, or Oil?

I just bought a house that has a bunch of crown molding and wood doors that have just been lightly stained or raw and was wondering on what to do with them. I was wondering what people’s opinion are between polyurethane, staining, oiling, or even painting.
