elevations, :)

it's a little strange right now
on every surface there is either
an "X"
a "remove & save"
or
a "do not touch"

all those XXXs tug at my heart strings

but this is a little promise of what's to come:

the kitchen:
all bright & airy with glass & aluminum and some really light patterny wood

Congrats!!

May I ask how long it took you to get your plans approved once you filed?

Im totally doing that "x" thing. How are you marking the walls they aren't supposed to touch?

Congrats and good luck with everything—I can’t wait to see the reno photos….How long was the process from start of filing to now?

Posted by: Kate at April 25, 2007 11:15 AM

from start of filing to approval was about a month, i think the first meeting between reviewer & expediter was about 2 weeks ago, there were some administrative corrections that had to be made (having to do with naming conventions of the floors) and then a calculation had to be submitted pertaining to the roofs and that was it,
:)

anything not being touched has tape on it with either "save" or "do not touch" written on it
and we have done 2 walk throughs with the contractor, one of them with the architect.

Could you share the name of your architect?
