Holy crap. I'm not sure what the garden is worth to a renter, but I used to rent a 1BR in a typical 6-story apartment building a few blocks away from there for $1600. I feel like $2550 should almost get you a 2BR in WT or Kensington, and is approaching 1BR Park Slope prices.
This building is nice, but I would NEVER live there. McDonald is a tremendously busy truck route between 20th St and Church, and living in that building is committing to the thunder of engine braking all day, all night, every day, every night. Terrace Pl is also where everyone turns without looking, racing onto Prospect Expwy heading toward Manhattan.
It looks like this unit is in the back, which would help, but you still have to live on that street.
Too much for a 1 bedroom w/office, essentially. It's hard to even use the second bedroom as a nursery, because everyone needs to walk through it to get to the only bathroom. Lots of traffic on Prospect too.
Locals fighting a rezoning plan to put up two 13-story residential buildings on Windsor Terrace’s Arrow Linen site aren’t against housing, members of the group told a community meeting on Wednesday night.
A short stroll from Prospect Park, the interior of this Windsor Terrace standalone is generously sized and has some period details like pocket doors, stained glass, and wainscoting along with some renovations since its 1890s construction.
Across from Prospect Park, this two-bedroom unit is in a 1960s building that the original builders promoted as providing “sumptuous living” with “outstanding appointments.”
I see nothing in your article that gives evidence for why it's named as it is. What are you basing it on? Thanks.
