Closing Bell: Biggie, Biggie, Biggie, Back in Brooklyn
"Notorious," a biopic about the Notorious B.I.G., is currently in production, and this short from the flick's website is about how a lot of the filming's been done in Brooklyn. Some of the movie was shot on the Clinton Hill street and in the apartment where Biggie grew up.

Closing Bell: Windows Brooklyn
Yesterday's News, the Court Street antique shop, is one of many businesses in Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill participating in Windows Brooklyn, a public art project running through next Sunday. The show involves artists putting their work up on mom-and-pop storefronts. At Yesterday's News, Candy Chang installed "I've Lived," which invites passersby to write where they live and how much they pay for their places on post-it notes. Interesting reading.

Closing Bell: Brooklyn Bridge Park Has a Friend in Albany

Last night the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy held its 9th Annual Sunset Sizzle party/fundraising event. Governor Paterson was among the attendees, and in his remarks said that Brooklyn Bridge Park "has a friend in Albany." Proceeds from the evening go to supporting the conservancy's free educational, recreational, and cultural programming.
