Development Watch: Northside Hotel Rising

As we reported back in September, Williamsburg's in the process of getting a new hotel--hopefully one that's a little classier than Hotel Le Jolie. This new one at 160 North 12th Street is designed by the ubiquitous Gene Kaufman and is going to be seven stories. The hotel is part of a cluster of three buildings that runs through the block to North 11th Street; the other two buildings are straight residential.

the exterior of hotel jolie is blah, the rooms are actually surprisingly nice.
