Streetlevel: New Cafe/Restaurant for Classon

You wouldn't know it from passing by 395 Classon Avenue, but a lovely looking new cafe has soft-opened behind the brown-papered windows. Called NeroDoro, the new spot offers coffee and french pastries in the morning with piadinas and salads during the day. You can see a photo that a little birdie sent us from the opening yesterday on the jump. No word yet on whether there will be wine. Would be nice though! GMAP

Can't wait to check it out - would be great if it stayed open for dinner!

Kind of amazing, since there was zip there a month ago. Meanwhile, on Grand and Clifton a cafe might open one day. Maybe.

This is a great place. I was their first customer! I hear they are in the process of getting their beer and wine license, at which point they will stay open later.

Great place. Great coffee and Piadinas, best chocolate cake and yes they are in the process of getting wine/beer. The owner Carolina is lovely (and a good friend). As residents of Bed-Stuy and owners of Locanda Vini e Olii we wish her success beyond her dreams! GO CAROLINA!!!!

Are they going to get their wine license faster than Cafe Lafayette on Franklin? They've been waiting an eternity for a liquor license.

I know this building. We almost bought it in 2008.
