What about the conspiracy theory that they let them win? After all, it'll be a big payday in NY...

Since elections are a big waste of time (today's resulting in my daughter not getting educated), how about just making it a "life appointment" for Bloomberg?

More "firsts" out of Italy besides meatballs & pasta......

Rome Hospital Starts Treating ‘Booming’ Web-Addiction Disorder

Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Rome’s Policlinico Gemelli hospital,
whose former patients include Pope John Paul II, has opened a clinic to treat Internet Addiction Disorder, a pathology linked to the obsessive need to be online.
The center, which opened yesterday, is a unit of the
psychiatric department and has received its first patients,
according to a statement on the hospital’s Web site. The Gemelli is one of the Italian capital’s biggest medical centers.
“The disorder is linked to the booming use of the
Internet, especially among the younger generation,” Lucio
D’Alessandris, a psychologist at the center, said in an
interview. “Many of the patients have interpersonal problems: They don’t talk to their neighbors and hardly go out, but are online all night to chat with someone in, say, Nepal.”

FYI, "Gemelli" is also a corkscrew shaped pasta.

that's cold turkey, arkady. I am curious what gentler remedy they might be using in Italy to wean addicts from the web.

Posted by: slopefarm at November 3, 2009 9:38 AM

Chantix works on the same neuro-receptors that nicotine and alcohol affect, so i'd hypothesize that it could be used to ween you off the internet as well. Chantix basically works by making all the things in life that are pleasurable, not feel so pleasurable anymore. :-/ i have yet to actually fill my prescription, im not sure that's a life i wanna live. there's few things i enjoy why would i want to deprive myself?

I wrote in ***Snappy for Mayor***

Posted by: CarrollGardened at November 3, 2009 10:07 AM

This is sort of off-topic but on-topic as far as Obama and "PC" is concerned. I typed the name "Obama" in an e-mail in my MS Outlook and spell check flagged it, when I clicked on spell-check it suggested to change it to "Osama." We should poll BS readers to see if they think Microsoft Word's auto spell-check is "race-baiting."

Posted by: Kensingtonian at November 3, 2009 10:15 AM

BTW
Origins of "comptroller"

'Comptroller' is a pseudolearned respelling of 'controller,' taken by English from Old French. The fancy spelling is doubtless due to an erroneous association with French 'compte' "count." The word has fairly recently acquired a new pronunciation based on the misspelling.

comptroller [kənˈtrəʊlə]
n
(Economics, Accounting & Finance / Accounting & Book-keeping) a variant spelling of controller [2] esp as a title of any of various financial executives
comptrollership n

Mornin' folksies!

Before I head off to the vet and the polls, I'd like to make one last plea for your votes. Remember, under a Snappy Administration the following will come to fruition:

MAYOR SNAPPY'S 10 POINT PLAN

1. A free oz or two of weed each month for my tokers
2. Lower ciggie prices for my smokers (hey, I'm a poet and didn't know it!)
3. Rent Control/Stabilization abolished unless you are already under it and are elderly/disabled
4. Smacking the ever-loving shit outta new NYC renters willing to pay/thinking it's acceptable to pay 4k for a studio with no sink in the bathroom.
5. Recessed lighting shall be no reason for shame!
6. 80's track lighting is a no-no!
7. Free tuna for all kitties!
8. A cat in every home, a litter box in every bathroom.
9. En suite baths for all! (except Rob)
10. MEATBALLS FOR EVERYONE!

Joe- I think a lot of us are worrying about that now. But at least I will have a lovely striped, dagged edged, medieval tent with the family crest painted on it. I just have to find out what the family crest might be- probably a rampant matzo ball on a field of beet red and off white. Little gold OYs in the background.

i have no problems living in a tent village, nor a trailer park for that matter. joe, you cannot live in public housing because
1.) you can't make a baby
2.) you are not a straight women in an abusive relationship. the rule only applies for female victims of domestic abuse, straight ones at that! go figure.
3.) you can get in if you 'go shelter' which is code for literally putting yourself on the streets INTENTIONALLY to bump yourself on a list.

granted public housing isnt a nice place to live, and i agree it does serve its purpose for the most part, i just think it's shady.

The Yankees will bring forth the 27th championship in style Wednesday evening, behind career postseason wins leader Andy Pettite, in a manner that will reflect the true force and majesty of the name Bronx Bombers. I'm glad the Yankees showed a little life in the 8th and 9th yesterday. would have been a lot more disappointing to come home after an ass whipping as opposed to a game that we won from the third inning on...

Interesting to see how Andy deals with short rest tomorrow. Yankees bats, with the exception of Cano and Teixera, seem to be awake now so lets hope they light up Pedro and bring it home tomorrow. Go Yanks!

In other news, Pelosi delivered her 2000 page bill on healthcare "reform"

tell me something people,
if Martin Luther only took 99 points on a couple of pages of sheepskin to reform all of Christendom,

why on earth should it take 2000 pages for Pelosi to expand healthcare coverage?

Arkady,

no need to pick away at the minutae, when the bill, in it's heft, speaks volumes.
when has 2000 pages of laws and mandates ever helped people advance?

the Declaration of Independence got it right on one page, as did the Magna Carta....
come to think of it...so did Nathan's menu.

Posted by: Legion at November 3, 2009 12:18 PM

Legion- Martin Luther was responsible for a lot of death and destruction. Not to mention he wasn't too happy with us Jews. I wouldn't call what he did reform. He created an internecine battle that hurt millions and crushed many more between the Protestant and Catholic Church wars. You don't need much paper when you don't think about consequences.

Posted by: bxgrl at November 3, 2009 12:19 PM

Yeah, but if Nathan's tried to forestall PETA & vegans & locavores, & other "interest groups", etc. it'd be an epic tome.

FYI (If you really care...)

The Diet of Worms[p] (German: Reichstag zu Worms, ['ʁaɪçsta:k tsu: 'voɐms]) was a general assembly of the Imperial Estates of the Holy Roman Empire that took place in 1521 at Worms, a small town on the Rhine River located in what is now Germany. It was conducted from 28 January to 25 May 1521, with Emperor Charles V presiding. Although other issues were dealt with at the Diet of Worms, it is most memorable for the Edict of Worms (Wormser Edikt), which addressed Martin Luther and the effects of the Protestant Reformation.

how dumb! i just finally got around to filling my script for chantix from the doctor and it turns out my insurance plan doesnt cover stop smoking drugs. that sounds so counterintuitive, no? it wound up being 160 dollars! that doesnt go toward my deductible. at least i had that bit on my health savings flex card, but still 160 dollars out of pocket for a month's starter pack? now im hearing that if you have a nice doctor they will often give you a starter pack for FREE? someone told me the same thing about the Advair inhaler i was on that some doctors give it to you for free if they put you on it temporarily like i went on it, not for chronic asthmas. that was like 160 bux too!!!

a serious question, if there is a public option for insurance, wont all these drugs wind up costing people even more, especially those already on a health plan? or is it the opposite?

The way the bill stands, it would probably cost around the same, only you'd be required by law to not "fire" your insurance company. It's simply a law requiring everyone to buy insurance with a few well intentioned (pitiful really)provisions like not denying coverage for an existing condition. Certainly a blow job for the Insurance Industry if I ever saw one...

you can ask your doctor's office for samples. most doctor's offices have a closet just for drug samples that they get for free when the drug reps detail them about their products. used to be, a doctor could get baseball tickets right on the 1st base line or a palm pilot, now all doctors can get is sample meds. ask your doctor, or better yet, his office manager, they know where to look.

"(pitiful really)provisions like not denying coverage for an existing condition"

There's nothing pitiful about that as it can literally cost millions of dollars - and mean the difference between life or death - to an ill person on the wrong side of denial for a pre-existing condition.

Also, it somewhat disingenuous to assert that a person would be "required by law not to fire your insurance company." In reality, under the plan, everyone will be required to have health insurance. If a person has a particular insurance plan he/she likes, they keep it. But if he/she doesn't have insurance because they can't afford it or their job does not offer it, there will be an alternative, including (apparently) a government run- and financed option.

4. doctor adjucation courts- for bad doctors
5. interstate competition for healthcare insurance

The Oracle of Omaha stunned the markets Tuesday with the announcement that his holding company Berkshire Hathaway (BRKA, Fortune 500) was scooping up the remaining 77% of Burlington Northern (BNI, Fortune 500) that it didn't already own. East New York, as the bill stands it is not "universal health coverage" , it should be called "universal punishment" because that's what it means, just like auto insurance is now. It just makes it illegal to not have insurance besides some very obviuosly good provisions the gist of the bill is just that. Imagine a law requiring you to shop a Walmart, that's what this is. The insurance industry (which acts as one company through its lobbyists) needs to be run out of the health care game in order to have any truly universal coverage.

biff,
I have no doubt the United States has protected it's interests playing hardball, everywhere from Panama to Afghanistan and back. I am also under no illusion that these simple freedoms we are enjoying right now, like voicing our opinions on the internet, came at a great price, sometimes an unfair price.
but, what is our alternative when history has proven time and again that despots and tyrants will always be there to take from the many, what little they have, under the guise of a better world.

That's a ballsy move by Warren. I think he knows something. That guy doesn't make an investment unless he knows things inside out.

In other news....

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- In a major consolidation of the tool industry, Stanley Works agreed to acquire Black & Decker in a $4.5 billion all-stock deal, the companies said Monday.

Under the terms of the deal, Black & Decker (BDK, Fortune 500) shareholders will receive 1.275 shares of Stanley Works (SWK) common stock for each B&D share. That's a 22.1% premium to Black & Decker's closing share price on Friday.

ENY,
better yet, let's get to the heart of this 2000 page behemoth.
it proposes to fundamentally change healthcare in america,
but according to the congressional budget office, it will still leave millions uninsured.
it proposes to let you keep your current insurance,
but according to the details, you will no longer be able to buy private insurance by about 2013.
it proposes to cut insurance costs in the long run, but according to the congressional budget office, it will most certainly lead to increased healthcare costs over the long haul.
it proposes to be for the people, for a better society, when in actuality, it is adding an additional 18 percent of the private sector economy to the 30 percent of the economy that the government now manages, bringing the grand total to about 48 percent of the economy controlled by the government. the same government that has managed to steer medicare towards insolvency, medicaid towards insolvency and projected that social security will also be out of funds by about 2030. that's only 20 years away.

While we advocate democracy around the globe, we can't force it on anyone- our foray into Iraq was a disaster of epic proportions that accomplished nothing except to destabilze the country, caused untold numbers of innocent deaths and devastate our military men, women and their families. For what? We should have focused on Osame- that was it. I wouldn't want another country invading here to force its idea of government on us. Where the hell so we get the idea we have the right to impose ours on anyone else. Educate? Yes. Try to convince? Yes. Humanitarian assistance and aid? Yes. Be the democracy police- No. We aren't qualified to make that call for anyone but ourselves and we can't afford to make that call for anyone but ourselves. Just look at the results in Irag. A whole lot of people dead- and for what? Bush barked about how Hussein killed so many of his people- we've managed to do the same.

ENY said it right.

FYI, first provision. How many of you out their consider yourselves "poor" but are well above poverty level? Well, this applies to you. Remember Big Pauly from Goodfellas? The gov't is allowing your insurance company to tell you "fuck you, pay me."

Posted by: Joe from Brooklyn at November 3, 2009 2:51 PM

folks,
let me be clear again,
by all means, let's reform healthcare and cover people who need covering.
but don't tell me this congress and this president are serious when they are leaving out tort reform from this 2000 page bill. it is, from that fact alone, a non-starter.
that little fact says it all.

if you will recall, a few months back when I was asking everyone to re-examine the very basis of the healthcare "reform" being pushed, the "47 million" number, they kept throwing out. Just an update, in a recent speech, President Obama himself has adjusted that number to 30 million. I continue to say it is closer to 10-15 million, if you examine the census figures closely.

bxgrl,
I hear what you're saying, the US shouldn't meddle so much. I agree to a certain extent. At the same time, you are asking this nation to advocate from a moral highground when the world itself is awash in thuggish dictatorships, theocratic fascist regimes and nations already on the downward slope of a long and difficult decline.
even if we were to go into an isolationist mode, do you not think that our enemies would soon find us here? Just look at the bombings in Jakarta, Mombai, Madrid and London to name a few. Even nations that backed away from a defense of western ideals, like spain, continue to get punished for being western in their make up. This global struggle is far from over, whether we want it to be over or not. Sitting back and ignoring that will only lead us to worse place.

Posted by: Legion at November 3, 2009 3:00 PM

Legion- then we have a lot of fiscal crap to cut in other areas and make health care for everyone a real priority, don't you think? Maybe force Halliburton to pay taxes? As it is i don't think you are giving an accurate full assessment of the bill- and I don't think any of us will convince the other. The major question is what are the priorities going to be for this country?

Legion- I would not want this country to ignore this at all. But we certainly need to go about promoting democracy in a much more intelligent way than done by the Bush Administration-certainly it didn't improve conditions in Iraq very much. Changed the leadership- but that's about it.

The thing we forget is that we were founded on certain basic principles that we have lived by and believed in for over 200 years. We are educated about them, the Constitution is part and parcel of our daily life and our concept of government. We should not assume other countries will readily accept democracy, even if we depose their monarchs, dictators and despots. We need to get much more real about what we expect and what they expect. And while we love to think everyone wants democracy - in truth, many people pay it lip service but have no clue what is involved in actually living in a democracy- especially not those theocratic fascist countries you speak of.

Can you honestly see Iraq or Iran or Afghanistan becoming democracies? First ask them to give women equal rights. Ask them if other sects will be allowed to openly practice their faith without retaliation. Ask them if they understand the concept that the Bill of Rights is what protects the rights of the minority from the oppression of the Majority. If they can't grasp these concepts on a real, personal, everyday level, democracy won't take root. Look how long this country has taken to come to terms with the fact that gay men and women are entitled to the same civil rights as everyone else- including civil marriage? And even we aren't there yet. We're fighting to keep the right of women to make decisions about their own bodies- how can we possibly march into Iraq and tell them to be a democracy?

Posted by: bxgrl at November 3, 2009 3:13 PM

"Now...can I cook the stock down for an hour or 2 to concentrate it? Or will it get 'funky'?"

Cobble, YOU are asking a goy about chicken soup? I honestly don't know about concentrating it. I concur about the chicken being done. But, you're at the point where My People put the pot in the fridge (or the freezer, but don't forget about it because you don't want the soup to freeze in the pot) so the fat congeals at the top, making it easy to skim (or scrape) off. Then we pour (or ladle) the soup into Ziploc Freezer Bags (TM), which we then place on a flat surface (use a cookie sheet if need be) in the freezer, so all you have to do is peel off the Ziploc and heat the soup when you have a cold or Passover comes around.

bxgrl,
sure we can ask these things of people. you must know that Islam itself give many rights to women that would make these fascist imams cringe. There is a long history of strong women in Persia and throughout the middle east. what has developed in these middle eastern countries over the past hundred years is an abberation.
Turkey is a functioning muslim democracy for one. I disagree that things are the same in Iraq. for one thing, women now vote and participate in government. for another, women are involved in their communities to a much greater extent, particularly the formerly oppressed Shiite women. The Khurds in the north are no longer being gassed with chemical weapons and we have a dialogue with the government of Iraq.
Iran, recently had a failed revolution. People are chaffing at the bit there, they love the USA. I know people from Iran personally, some who escaped in the past 20 years. I personally know an Iranian Jew with a hell of a story about life there under the Ayatollahs.
sure these people want democracy, because as all of us here in the US know, it is inherent to being human to want to have the freedom to assert oneself and dream.
bxgrl, don't forget Tienamen, or more recently the Orange revolution in Ukraine.

CGar, I'm skimming it. I have a fat separator/strainer cup. — well worth the investment. I'm going to try to cook it down to almost half the volume. I'm freezing half the meat for something next week — maybe like a Chicken tetrazini thing? It think I may still end up freezing some of the stock. I'm totally going full Mimi Method there — it's brilliant!

So then, can I just saute the onion, carrot, celery and then add stock and meat. & maybe egg noodles? What if I add a little lemon juice?

"sure these people want democracy, because as all of us here in the US know, it is inherent to being human to want to have the freedom to assert oneself and dream."

I totally agree but I'll still point out something to you. We didn't invade turkey, or Persia (I strongly believe democracy will prevail there because the people do want it)- democracy wasn't forced on them. China is changing- there is no doubt- but no matter Tienanmen Sq., we aren't invading them. But Change has definitely come to China.

DO NOT WAIT till the last possible moment to go from the left hand lane to take the exit in the right hand lane, cutting people off, causing me to break to avoid hitting you.

Strain your broth through cheesecloth & then you can reduce it as much as you want - I get mine so concentrated it just fills an ice cube tray (down from a gallon) & I can use one ice cube for a sauce. It's the bits of meat, marrow , etc. that make the stock bitter during boiling so once that's strained out you can go full steam ahead.

I blame it on american car manufacturers making the indicators red, like the brake lights, instead of obvious- orange, effectively dampening down any safety advantages gained from visibilty. If you can't really tell if the car is indicating left, whats the point?

Re Newsweek:

It's hard to imagine we are having a 'bubble' in equities. We are still 40% from the Dow's high. We are still more than 50% down on the Nasdaq, more like 60% adjusted for inflation. You are still in the red in equities for the last decade. That's hardly a bubble. A bubble was when a guy writes a book called 'dow 30,000' when it's a third of that.

Perhaps there's a bubble in gold, perhaps in t-bills. Perhaps not.

To me, one thing that defines a bubble is the ability to rapidly create more assets to feed the bubble. When demand crashes, so do the assets since there is an excess of supply.

In the US, we have tons of available land that can, and was, developed for housing. We fed the bubble until it burst. We can always feed an equities bubble by bringing more companies public, but that's not happening to a great extant now. It could easily enuf.

Oil is a different story. While to my knowledge there have been a handful of major discoveries recently, they are all deep sea or Arctic. Unless oil stays over $70/bbl, they will not be recovered. The fact is that we have run out of easily recoverable oil, what is left is in the Middle East and cartel-controlled. It makes no difference whether we have seen 'peak oil' or not, clearly it is coming, and within most of our lifetimes.

While some analysts scream that the 'fair value' of oil is $55/bbl, I don't think so. The recent crash to $35/bbl was driven by panic, just as the crash in equities was. So it is natural that oil has recovered just as equities have.

Therefore, oil is not like housing, no one is making more of it. Personally I would like to see oil in the $85/bbl range. Not high enuf to destroy Western economies, but high enuf to allow the new sources to be tapped, while science works on alternatives for the long term.

The difference today is, of course, that if you believe there is a 'bubble' in oil, housing, or equities, there are financial instruments available to anyone with a brokerage account that will allow you to cash in on the popping of this mini-bubble he's taking about in Newsweek. I'd like to see if he's invested that way himself, or, like our very own What, he doesn't put his money where his mouth is.

Ditto, the DOT stringently regulates automobile lighting. Speaking of oil, it took years for the DOT to allow car makers to use different lighting for each car so that the cars could be made aerodynamic. Europe, as usual, was way ahead of us. Remember those hokey round lights on every car?

yes, bx, just the thought that there was someone out there about to go to contract on a house and then said, "uh oh, the what says not to buy," and then withdraws the offer. There must be thousands of them out there just killing the market. Gives me nightmares just thinking about it. ;)

Posted by: slopefarm at November 3, 2009 5:42 PM

DeLepp- good point. I guess Hitler was too -oh no! I just invoked Godwin. Darn. When will I learn? :-)

Posted by: bxgrl at November 3, 2009 5:42 PM

At least Jim Jones made great Kool-Aid! (DeLepp, you should pop in to Last Week's Biggest Sales - scroll down)

A hero for every nut, or is it a nut for every hero?

Posted by: DeLepp at November 3, 2009 5:44 PM

CarGar- do you think stevie drank it? I wonder if he worships Zenu?

Posted by: bxgrl at November 3, 2009 5:45 PM

ROFL, Slopey! My thoughts exactly.

Posted by: CarrollGardened at November 3, 2009 5:47 PM

Hola again losers! I trust you all ran out and voted for me with zeal? No? DAMN YOU! :-) It's ok. Really...I actually voted for the RENT IS TOO DAMNED HIGH guy!

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 5:52 PM

I voted for you Snappy! But I'll admit I was very tempted to vote for the Rent is too damn high guy! ; )

***Snappy for Mayor*** (TODAY!)

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 5:57 PM

LOL Cobble :-) I fell to that temptation! Of course I first had to go online and look up his name so I'd know who the hell I was voting for!

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:00 PM

Jerry McMillan!

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:03 PM

Check out his website...he's got a Barry White voice thing and his OWN song/music outlining his platform! LOVE IT!

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:05 PM

Hopefully either he or I can pull off a last minute win :)

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:07 PM

OMG that song is hysterical!

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:08 PM

Isn't that the GREATEST!!

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:12 PM

Have my fingers crossed. If you win Queen of the US I have to upgrade the tiara.

Posted by: bxgrl at November 3, 2009 6:12 PM

Hmmmm yes, a new tiara indeed! Tanzanite and diamonds please :)

I'm still listening to the Rent is Too Damn High song! It's catchy :)

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:14 PM

I can't wait to play it for BH!

He's kind of channeling a little Barry and George Clinton, no?

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:18 PM

can't hear it. :( Next year I'm voting for the "Captioning on the internet for everyone!"

Posted by: bxgrl at November 3, 2009 6:18 PM

I'm playing for the 3rd time!! LOL!!

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:20 PM

LOL Cobble! So true. I don't know whether to use it as 'gettin booty' music or if I should just start dancing !

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:22 PM

Bxgirl, maybe youtube has a version with the words?

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:23 PM

Direct quote from the site:

We treasure the needs of the people.
1. Roof over your “Head” (Homeless/ Housing Crisis)
2. Food on your “Table” (Hunger Crisis)
3. Money in your “Pocket” (Jobless Crisis)

In other words this is a Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner campaign.

How much do you love this?

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:26 PM

If I weren't already emarried, I'd make a pass at him :)

Posted by: bxgrl at November 3, 2009 6:28 PM

I suppose not too many folks take him seriously or else he'd have a larger, more noticeable following.

(I'm still singing and chair dancing to the song!)

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:30 PM

Apparently, he's been at this since the early 90s! How have I missed this??!!

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:34 PM

I have heard of the RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH platform before...a few years ago I think, but I never paid any attention to it. He needs to raise money and buy commercial time. I can see it now...the song playing in the background while the words go across the screen with one of those bouncing balls to guide you along!

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:36 PM

I have to take my leave now, though hopefully not of my senses, although that's debatable given my behavior on the Last Week's Biggest Sales thread this afternoon. Going to stuff the ballot box for Mayor Snappy right after I walk the CDog. (Feel free to resume your discussion of waxing now, ladies.)

"the song playing in the background while the words go across the screen with one of those bouncing balls to guide you along!"

Nobody else has a great tune! If you scroll down there are videos too!

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:39 PM

Oh, before I forget...good news! My scale was off and Hari actually gained 2 lbs! He's now 4.5 lbs. And he got an anti-tapeworm shot today that started working almost immediately (very gross, but a good thing).

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:41 PM

Dang, I missed the videos! Gotta go back (I finally turned off the song!)

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:42 PM

Nite Cargar! We'll wait to have the remainder of the waxing discussion tomorrow so you don't miss a hair of the convo!

Ha! (I crack myself up sometimes)

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:43 PM

GREAT news, Snappy! You're an excellent mom!

Posted by: cobblehiller at November 3, 2009 6:43 PM

Thankfully Hari seems to think so, too! Strange little boy loves the vet. He likes to play on the exam table and snuggle up to the vet and demand to be held.

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:46 PM

That's VERY cute! Silly kitty! I'm so glad, it must be a huge relief!

****

CG, you surprised me in the last week's biggest sales thread. What came over you? You were quite vicious to me.

Posted by: stevieb at November 3, 2009 6:52 PM

Huge relief indeed. Now I just need to ween him off being rocked to sleep! (very big mistake on my part getting him used to that)

All right...time to put my feet up. Nite!

Posted by: InsertSnappyNameHere at November 3, 2009 6:54 PM

stevie, you led the attacks against 11217 pretty viciously, and I thought that was uncalled for. And for the umpteenth time, I really don't appreciate your October 29th post, though this doesn't seem to register with you.

Posted by: CarrollGardened at November 3, 2009 6:57 PM

KAPOW!!!
**cracking Cargar across the knuckles with a ruler**

LAST ONE OUT IS SUPPOSED TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS DAMMIT! SHAME ON YOU!

**click**

nitey nite!
